MUNICIPAL EMERGENCY COORDINATOR POSITION – VILLAGE OF ST. PIERRE JOLYS

The Village of St. Pierre Jolys is hiring a Municipal Emergency Coordinator to provide emergency management services including:

·        Preparation,  and maintenance of the Village’s emergency plan and program to meet the standards set out under Provincial legislation.

·        Coordinate and manage the municipal response to any emergency that happens within the Village of St. Pierre Jolys.

·        Attract, manage, train, and motivate volunteers to work on aspects of the Village’s emergency program.

Answering the Chief Administrative Officer, this contracted position is part-time and will require a time commitment of between 5-7 hours per week. Training in emergency response and/or operations is an asset.  A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.   Training for this position will be provided.
