CDEM has been a driving force behind economic development in Manitoba's bilingual communities since 1996. Their mission is to stimulate, encourage, support and coordinate economic development in bilingual communities across Manitoba that belong to the Association of Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities (AMBM). The Village of St-Pierre-Jolys is a member of the AMBM and appoints a community representative to the Board of CDEM.
